The greatest gift we can give ourselves and the world is our full attention.  Every moment holds the sacred potential for us to feel our connection to all of life.

Modern-day existence, with all of its urgent demands and numbing distractions, takes us out of the unified field of connection and into a frenetic state of needing to keep going, to keep up, to keep it together.  At the same time, we long to stay close to what is meaningful to us.  We crave intimacy and authenticity, and we want to be present for our lives.  This dichotomy creates suffering.

To let gravity hold us, to allow our heart-minds to surrender to what is, to meet the truth alive in each present moment, here and now – these are no small tasks and require immense bravery.  We need support to break our habitual patterns and disrupt the illusion of separateness, connecting us to our true nature and expanding our capacity to be with life as it is.

Root to Fly is …

a support system that focuses on three primary points of transformation – the home, body, and heart;

a lens through which to experience your living space as a source of creativity, refuge, and belonging;

a collection of mindfulness and embodiment practices that bring grounded freedom into the way you move through life; and

a gateway into the holy work of coming home to ourselves through the wisdom of the heart, and how that shapes our emotional connection with others.

Forget about enlightenment.

Sit down wherever you are

and listen to the wind singing in your veins.

Feel the love, the longing, and the fear in your bones.

Open your heart to who you are, right now,

not who you would like to be.

Not the saint you’re striving to become.

But the being right here before you, inside you, around you.

All of you is holy.

You’re already more and less

than whatever you can know.

Breathe out, touch in, let go.
